Simpsons Hit and Run monorail question

How do you get to the collector card by the monorail and how do you get across to the roof opposite the monorail. It's too far to jump from where you jump across on the green lamp.

I need to get across to get the garbage cans and the coins.

It's not too far from the lamp, you just need to double jump (jump then jump again while still in the air) from the lamp to the middle platform, and then double jump from there to the far side.

Be careful, one of the garbage cans has a family of rabid possums living in it which will pop out at you. They originally came from the monorail cab.
