I just ran across a new editorial/article on the simpsons. I can't believe how utterly clueless this person is. He/she obviously doesn't know a thing about what he's writing about. He rants about how the latest Simpsons eps are the best while the others were terrible. Ugh, I threw off an e-mail to the guy who runs the site - hopefully they get rid of the jacka@@ who wrote that drivel.

It's a dreadfuly written piece, but he's not alone in liking the new eps more than the traditional stuff, not my opinion, but he's entitled to it. I assume you're from the US, so what's happened to free speach? By sending that email you're saying that the press should be stopped from saying things you disagree with.
Oh well. Did like the caption: "It seems the old writers felt Simian Obesity was a humorous topic. I don't know about you, but I wasn't laughing."

What he was referring to was a principle we do believe in called responsibility. One should get his facts straight before reporting it. Although this is not a news organization, the truth should still prevail over drivel like Mr. Burns was shot by a dog or that Moe was an alcoholic candidate to go into space with Homer. The writer can state his opinions to his heart's content, however wrong they may be ;). but, the facts are not debatable.

Well, I think the later shows are funnier then the very first ones. For example, when the Simpsons went camping or Bart got an "F". Those shows had too much of a plot and were way too family oriented. The Simpsons are much better when Homer is a total buffoon. Also, did you notice early on Bart was the center of the show and later on it began to center around Homer. I wonder who made the change?
