Seems odd to me that, with all the bonus stuff they have given us, these still aren't out. Is it some licensing/rights issue?
Haven't seen nearly any of them since their original airings, so it'd be nice to take a look back at where it really "all began."

Know one of the Shorts was put on a set (think it was Season 1). So don't know why others haven't.

Besides - there's no guarantee that the shorts would remain intact. On one of the VHS sets, I think the short where they go to the zoo is missing its final act (they're driving home when they discover they have one of the monkeys instead of Bart) for some reason.
