I just saw Mike Reiss give a presentation last night (it was awsome). Someone asked him what his least favorite episode is, so he asked us (the audience) what our least favorite episodes are. One person yelled "Frank Grimes", so I responded by yelling "Frank Grimes is one of the greatest episodes ever!" Reiss prompty pointed a finger at me and said "you're wrong." Am I alone on this? Frank Grimes has always been one of my favorites, and I couldn't beleive it was labeled as one of the worst ever last night.

I loved it. Homer was being a jerk, but Homer is a jerk. That's why Grimes (Grimey!) was so great, it was as though Homer was interacting with a real human in the real world who couldn't deal with Homer's stupidity/obesity/selfishness/laziness/dumb luck.

I liked "Homer Enemy"! And "SimpsoncalifragilisticexpialiD'OHscious" was simply classic. Maggie Roswell as Shary Bobbins is priceless.

I thought they were pretty interesting. Obviously the clip of Lisa and Mr. Bergstrom had been aired, but it was cool to see again because I do think Reiss and Bergstrom look alike.

The second clip was my favorite. It was just wierd to the voices I've been hearing for years in cartoons come out of real people. It was also interesting to hear Dan Castellaneta talk about why he changed Homer's voice. I had always thought it was to make him sound dumber.

The short? What can I say? It was one of the shorts.

Have you ever seen City Slickers (its probably on cable this weekend). Yeardley Smith is in one seen. It's strange because she talks normally with the same voice she uses for Lisa, so in the movie it sounds like Lisa is in the room saying to Daniel Stern that she's afraid she's pregnant!
