Hi, I don't generally visit this newsgroup and am only a casual Simpsons fan. I watch the reruns almost every day in syndication, but hadn't seen a new episode for a while... but I caught it tonight.
What happened to this, one of my favorite television shows? Something seemed really off about the animation (seemed jerky at points), as well as the dialogue and plotline. Did they get new writers and animators recently or something? It was pretty bad... Don't jump all over me... something just seemed really phishy (heh). Any comments? It just didn't seem like the classic, clever show I've loved so long...
