I saw that episode in the time-compressed version tonight on The Comedy Network.
Not great, not great at all.
Homer in a book club? Bart controling the plane with his electronic game? The monopoly guy at the seminar? The fish talking?
It's one of the bad episodes.
no way! that episode rocks! gamera and rodan and godzilla at the end? homer stealing the magnet and the tickets and making a sandwich at flanders'? the plankton? yoink dot adios backslash losers! hilarious! the japanese jails? homer throwing the emporer into a bin of used sumo thongs? man, i love that episode! the game show? america town? the canucks who are afraid of scorpions? i thought the taking fish was funny too. knife goes it, etc.
now if you still don't think it's a great episode, we'll argue some more..... j/k.

I laughed at Homer's idea for what the family would win at that Game Show: I think we'd all like a free diner at Americatown.
I laughed at Barney (dressed as Homer) charging beers on Homer's tab.
