Here are some words I absolutely hate:

-Cupboard (what does a cup and a board have to do with food storage?) -Utter (used in the context of someone uttering something)

anyone else?

Muckluck. It sounds dirty, but it's not.

I think a cupboard would be from a BOARD (used to make the shelf) used to hold CUPS and other things. You may have food in some of yours, but that's where we keep most of our dishes and cups as well. And what on earth does this have to do with a.t.s?

No, that would be as in the notorious Prodigy song, "Smack My Catsup".

Don't worry, Mr. Burns, you're off your nut, so we're going to put you in this old-folks home.

It's not quite a cup, and it's not quite a board, but man...! So to tell you
the truth, I don't know.

Typical Seinfeld humor template:

Don't you hate it when <insert word here> and you have to <and so on>.

Or:

What is it with those <two words here>. It has nothing to do with <first of previous two words> or <second of previous two words>.

BUT, there is a template for postings to this ng. And we have hashed over it's contents many times.

The template is:

My favorite episode is <insert here>. My favorite character is <insert here>. The show started going down when <insert here>. Worst <insert here> ever. Do you want to <work at home | enlarge your sex organs | get cheap long distance service>.

Space Museum

reading through the template for this ng i didn't expect:

"Do you want to <work at home | enlarge your sex organs | get cheap long distance service>."

that was funny. it's funny because it's true!

hahaha, shvitz - that reminds me of perhaps my favorite krusty quote: "charity?? what's my cut? nothing?! i make more than that taking a shvitz!!" and he's in that damn steamer and all you can see is his head, and he's like "happy birthday, ha ha, now get em out of here." so hilarious! krusty is so damn funny.
