was it just me, or does anyone else think that King of the Hill, Futurama and The Simpson's all had the "worst episode ever" on the same night (3/17)?

Probably just you. (I don't really have a problem with people who don't like certain episodes, but someone had to say it.)

Yep, just you. Futurama was great, and The Simpsons was as well - both among my favorites this season. And by the way, using an apostrophe in a family name denotes ownership, so "The Simpson's" is incorrect; you want "The Simpsons" (as taken from the title screen of the show).

Just you. Tonight's episodes of The Simpsons and Futurama were both among the season's best. Futurama might have been among the series' top ten I think.

As for King of the Hill....is that thing still on? Oh yeah, it must be because I always have to find a way to waste a slim half hour between my two favorite shows with something constructive to do, but that isn't too time consuming.

I'm so confused, you found that funny? And I'm not being sarcastic. I just didn't find anything funny other than the Zoidberg one-liner and the name of the rabbi-minister guy.

The rest of the episode felt like a Davey and Goliath episode.

I dunno, I just like how it was more than a jokefest. It really tried to say something too. Of course everyone is entitled to their own opinions. As I said, I don't even watch King of the Hill, but I'm sure there are plenty of people here who love it.

Oh definitely, I'm not at all trying to start a flame war. I just didn't enjoy Futurama at all last night or really at all this whole season.

As for KOTH, I've tried a number of times to get into it, but it just doesn't speak to me on any level. So I just don't bother anymore. I'm sure there are a lot of people who love it though, and it's not a shot against them, it's just not for me. That's all.

It was just you. Which can also be interpreted that you don't like or 'get' the true essence of futurama or the Simpson's. King of the Hill I can not comment on, because I hate the show. But back to your question, Futurama was the best episode of the season and possibly one of the best ever. The 3/17 Simpson's episode was first class as well. Many of the best Simpson's episodes are based on 'classic' literature, and this one did not disappoint at all. If you want to a bad recent Simpson's episode, check lasts weeks with Grampa Simpson driving.

Just my thoughts.

Hey, I've got nothing but good things to say about last night's Simpsons episode. I really enjoyed it and think it's the best of this season so far.

OTOH, I felt that Futurama just wasn't funny at all. To me, it was a preachy episode with no laughs.

i'd have to agree. although there was one joke i thought slightly funny. it was something like Fry asking a bishop or a priest what they could do to save bender, and the reply was "we could all pray for him" or something. then fry asks, "is there anything *useful* we could do?" it's not word for word, but it was a pretty good joke. of course, jokes like that have been done so much better on the simpsons IMO.

Right, that was a good laugh and also the guy's name Chobergstein... something like that. Zoidberg's line was good too. The rest was depressing.

Futurama's been depressing since the beginning of the third season.

If you want a bad episode, you should watch "The Latest Gun in the West" from last month.

The one with Grampa Simpson driving was not so bad. It just had some bad parts, like Abe Simpson at the Kwik-E-Mart "Death Race" and the singing...

which could be interpreted as you don't like or 'get' the ture essence of King of the Hill.

I'm amazed Art Clokey (or, if he's dead, his estate) allowed that line. He wouldn't have any say about "Gravey and Jobriath" because satire is protected speech. But they would have HAD to get permission for a commercial.

Charmed at 7 on sunday , so I don't watch KOTH or Futurama often, but
Simpsons for the most part was quiet good.   Godda love Marge eating the
rest of the book,
