It's probably been mentioned before, but....

I saw The Great Money Caper last night, and saw something I apparently overlooked the first time I saw it. Groundskeeper Willie grabbed Chief Wiggum's gun in the court room and was able fire it. Yet in Who Shot Mr. Burns Part 2, he said he can't fire a gun because of arthritis in his index fingers. That's one glaring continuity error that I'm surprised I missed.

Drugs. There are drugs for arthritis.

Sometimes it looks like the writers do not care about the older shows.

Let's just do whatever we want now as if Seasons 1-9 did not exist.

Actually, you just solved the case of Who Shot Mr. Burns! Since Willie lied about being able to shoot a gun, then it goes to reason that HE shot Burns! He framed Maggie by planting the gun under the seat, placing some Simpson DNA on it first. He used subliminal messages in Mr. Burn's Musak while Burns was in the hospital to make Burns think that Maggie did it. Probably Smithers was in on the plot, since there is supressed evidence to the fact that he shot Burns too. I'll alert the Springfield Shopper!

That's the reason he screwed up his hand so it wouldn't fit in the glove?

Yeah, because no one ever lies about the reasons it was impossible for them to have killed someone. I hope you aren't a detective.
