In recent years, voices on "The Simpsons" including Phil Hartman, Linda McCartney, George Harrison, Stephen Jay Gould, Barry White, and most recently, George Plimpton have died. At the same time, voices on other animated series such as "Futurama", "Ren & Stimpy" and "King of the Hill" are all still alive. Are the deaths of Hartman, McCartney, Harrison, Gould, and more just coincidences, or is there some sort of "Simpsons Curse" at work? Please post your thoughts.

The show has been on for 15 years...people die. That's the way it goes. Most of the guest stars have died of chronic diseases that they had while guest starring or that were in their family history and old age.
George Harrison died of cancer. Linda McCartney died of cancer. Stephen Jay Gould died of cancer. George Plimpton died of old age. Barry White died of kidney failure.

and don't forget Chris Latta who I believe in the first season did the voices of Mr. Burns and Moe The Bartender before his falling out with Fox. According the the IMDB he died of a heart attack but I also heard he might have died of a drug overdose (sic?).

The Simpsons tv show has had dozens if not hundreds of celebrity guest stars; most of them are alive and well. I do not think that there is a curse.
Even though "The Simpsons" started over 15 years ago, most of the voices including, Dan Castelanetta, Marcia Wallace, and Nancy Cartwright are still alive. However most, if not all, of the voices on other animated series including "The Flinstones" and "Looney Tunes" have died. Is the fact that Castelanetta, Wallace and Cartwright are still alive just coincidences, or is there some sort of "Simpsons Miracle" at work? Please post your thoughts.

Maybe the fact that the voice actor for the Simpsons are a generation or two younger has something to do with it. Mel Blanc did most of the Warner Brothers voices: he'd be over 100 years old today.
