Trying to figure out, whether i'm part of the Dennis Miller ratio.
Either, it's not a very good joke, or i'm not getting it. Whats the point?
Anyone from mensa out there?

I've seen shirts around like it. Basically "run" was the "execute" command in Basic, which was the foundation and a major part of DOS. You can still find it in Windows XP in the start menu.
There is a longer shirt that makes more sense
C:\DOS C:\DOS RUN RUN DOS RUN

Apu: "Is it me or do your plans always involve some horrible web of lies?" Homer Simpson: "It's you."
Well, are you getting that it's reference to the Dick and Jane children's book? Or do you know that and still think it's a lousy joke? Because that's perfectly fine...just curious.

Well that was actually the case. I had guessed i would be from a childrens book, but since i've never been brought up with Dick and Jane, I suppose it's natural that it's a bit flat for me.
Well thank you.

Is not! :-P
I figured that wasn't necessary. I've never actually read those books, but they're "See spot, etc" is almost universal in American TV... so I would have thought non-English speakers would be at least somewhat aware of it. I even saw it on the Munsters once!
Another reference along these lines I've always liked
Homer: "D'oh!" Marge: "A deer" Lisa: "A female deer".
(I may have marge and lisa mixed up.)
We had Dick and Jane, and also their phonetic doppelgangers, Sam and Ann, show seemed to have an obsession with mints.

I've actually seen the last line as: "RUN\DOS\RUN."
Well, of course, that's what I should have written. That's where the "RUN\DOS\RUN" shirt comes from. ;)
Weren't the slashes the wrong way around on CBG's shirt?

How do you do those face things? It's the first time ive ever seen one!

Welcome to the wonderful Xnews. Basically, you get a graphic that you would like to use as your X-Face (or as you called it, a "face thing"). Ideally you'll reduce to 48-by-48 pixels and reduce the graphic to monochromatic (this is not the same as grayscale). IrfanView(.com) is the best program for these sorts of things. Now visit www.dairiki.org/xface and follow the instructions.
(Once you get your X-Face code, enter Xnews options window, select the Compose tab, and paste it ["X-Face: ..."] in the Custom Headers window. Then be sure to put an asterisk before it to activate it. Now the next time you compose a message, you should see your face!)

Cheers. Found that site through google search anyway but got no graphic to do it with :(

Well thx. In the beginning it was just the picture of homer, but noone i showed it to (even some quite hardcore fans) got it. They just thought it was homer wearing a hat. ("Krusty poses for trading card photo")
Therefore i added the text, allthough it annoys me a little.
Mmmm... organized crime. :-)
But kudos on your x-face JD44 - if that is your real name.

But of course it is! Yeah, it's a new face, and I'm pleased how it came out. (One day when I'm famous, you'll think back to my humble little X- Face and smile.)
