Review Only (Mr. Spritz Goes to Washington)

Since snpp.com is down tonight, I have nothing to use as a reference for tonights show, so I cannot do any additional work on this.

Review: There was a lot that went on in this episode, but that does not mean that it was that interesting or that funny. I honestly thought that there could have been more jokes about Krusty in Washington, but instead it was the same old bureaucrat is bad rhetoric. While I like "Lisa Goes to Washington" the Simpsons should not have made a second trip to the District of Columbia.

GRADE: C (mostly boring but had a few laughs here and there)

IMO this episode was an enormous passive-aggressive jab at the Republican party. I don't feel there's anything wrong with that, but sometimes the show gets too "messagy" for it's own good and sacrifices the natural flow of comedy that way.

I may be the most conservative Republican person on this group (I'm still looking for a candidate who will build a bridge to the 19th century), and I thought it was the first really good episode in a long time.

I really did like the Fox News parody, and it was even better that it was on Fox that we were seeing that parody.

Wonder if they had a response from the "Fair and Balanced" camp.
