Disco Stu on the Homer Show

I havn't been reading this NG as extensivly as I should, so I don't know if this topic has been raised. It seemed to be a bit anachronistic that Homer would replace Barney with Disco Stu. Name one meaningful interaction Stu and Homer have had. That said, I was not disapoined by Stu's apperence. Infact, my nickname on MOH servers is Disco Stu, but I just felt his apperence was a little odd.

I'm glad you posted this...because I've watched the ep a few times now and, as was the first time I watched it; when Disco Stu makes his appearance-the show falls flat and feels very awkward. (I could almost hear a cartoon pin drop. :P) Not only did his appearance seem out of left field, but in coincided with this horrible lull in jokes. It was a good ep, but that part was real lame.
