Blackboard gags?

I haven't been paying much attention, but my impression lately is that the blackboard gags have virtually vanished (even on local syndicated broadcasts.) Given the quote from the Jan. 4 show, is the blackboard gag officially axed?

They show up sometimes. It depends (I think) on episode length and syndication advertising potential.

Is there a list compiled somewhere of all the blackboard gags? I love those, just like the intro to futurama, tonights was "Painstakingly drawn before a live audience."

The Futurama intro, the blackboard gag, the Simpson family couch sitting bit. All genius.
