I was watching the wizard of oz recently, and I had forgotten the references that the show has to this classic.
Two that come to mind are:
opening scene to Rosebud, and the flying Monkeys from The Last Temptation of Homer. Are there other ones that I am missing?

I'm sure there must be more references to The Wizard of Oz, but none come to mind at the moment.
Has there ever been a reference to Puffnstuff on The Simpsons? If so, it might be a roundabout reference to the Wizard, since there is a lot of similarity.
