If i EVER get my hands on the idiot(s) who put the simpsons episodes with commercials out on the net, i swear i will fu**ing kill him!

Damn! And this retard is fast forwarding when the commercials are on. I mean it! That is so GODDAMN annoying! What kind of an idiot are you?! And another thing! If you can't make them in good quality, don't bother making them at all. And yet another thing! Stop putting your nerdy nickname on the episodes. I hate that!

If you can't contribute with something good, don't bother contributing at all, moron!

...yeah, yeah... i know. piracy and all that, but i buy the episodes, AND delete them for my computer when they come out on DVD.

Bwawwaahahahah!!! Yeah RIIIIIGHT. Thanks for the Monday joke of the day.

AND

It's true. After i bought season 1 and 2, i deletet them from my computer. Why would i want to have poor quality episodes when i have them on DVD??

I would do it if i got Fox, but since i don't i cannot. However, i have compressed those 250MB episodes to hi quality DivX wich takes up about 80MB each. AND i have given them correct names.

My point is, why do something when you can't do it right? These episodes are very common since they are fairly small. And they are VERY annoying!

And another thing; i can't believe all the commercials the show during a 20 minute show in the states! i mean, DAMN! Over here, they only show commercials between shows.

You're not serious, your only ads are between shows?????? Jesus christ. Welcome to the real world. Why do you think each episode comes in at about 21mins? 9 minutes of advertising for every half hour of televison. That's how it works, buddy...

Well, the law actually states that commercials in the middle of shows are illegal. Commercial breaks are allowed if the show runs for one hour or more. Not including the commercials, and only once per hour. This excludes movies, which have to be commercial-free. Also, commercial breaks are not allowed to be more than five minutes or so. Messages like "this program is sponsored by..." are allowed, but the message cannot be animated (eh...). The TV-station also have to inform that the following announcments are commercials. If a station breaks these rules, they have to send spots for charity organization for a period of time. For free!

I know what you're probably thinking, but it works great.

This is in Norway, and the law only applies to TV-stations broadcasting from Norway. Stations broadcasting from other countries doesn't have to follow these rules. Not sure how this works in other european countries.

I'm actually from New Zealand and AFAICT, our TV "rules" are pretty much the same as the US.

Bloody communists! Unlimited commercial interruptions are what made the US of A great. Norway indeed. Pfah! Bloody reindeer and Eurosocialists and fishheads, that's all you got there. At least Iceland has Bjork.

Look at how great the USA are. Kids gunning down classes in school, poverty, locos with rifles shooting innocent people... You got a massive crime problem, and it just keeps on growing. Your so called democracy doesn't even work. American greed causes wars all over the world. Let's face it: the 9.11 incident would have never occured if it wasn't for US foreign politics. Your government brought it on you. America has never fought a war because of the suffering of people in the countries they attack. It's all about money, oil, minerals or whatever. The USA doesn't care for anybody but themselves. Greed is what made USA so "great".

haha! I'm just kidding with ya! But still, i can't understand how you can watch TV with all those damn commercials. Had they been short, it wouldn't have been so bad. But the breaks are soooooooooooooo looooooooong! You almost forget what you were watching.

Blargh har har! Please, don't show how humorless Europeans are! I mean, you like the Simpsons, so you can't be totally dull!

Please excuse our primitive American mannerisms, but the thought of these types of 'laws' about the free expression of ideas is foreign to us (literally). Just last night, I was watching a History Channel program about the German Autobahn. You can be ticketed for giving someone the finger! Not a bad idea, maybe, but definitely not a freedom-loving idea. (Also, I think some of us are being purposefully ironic - Americans have a love/hate relationship with commercials/commercialism.)

Look, if you don't like the quality of those video recordings, then don't download them. It's as simple as that. Just go back to watching whatever TV programs your little third-world country produces.
