I think a new guy joins the power plant. He is hard working and well qualified. He just can't believe how Homer seems to have everything on a plate, home, family, job etc whilst being a complete nincompoop. Whereas he has worked hard all his life and hasn't got half as much. I seem to remember the guy then freaks out and decides to act stupid just like Homer and ends up getting electrocuted and dying..

I only caught the start of it....Homer and Bart were walking round the town rummaging through garbage cans. Cleatus and his wife were also doing the same. Then the comic book guy put a load of unsold comics in the bin and three alley nerds appeared just when he turned his back and started to take them until he returned and shooed them away.
