how quickly does a "new post" show up

Hmmm? Anyone?

if it is a non-moderated group like alt.tv.simpsons or alt.music.beck instantly. by instantly i mean less than 2 sec.

a group like that guitar tab group i used to post to was moderated, this took about a week to get up.
