After these years of "The Simpsons," I'm wondering about your thoughts on the elderly -- that is, on elderly citizens today and on being elderly in a few decades. Do you find yourself uncomfortable with the aged because of the way they are portrayed on the show? Does it frighten you to think of yourself in that very same way in 60 or 70 years? Do you feel that their representation of the elderly is accurate? How has it affected your thoughts and feelings?
Has the way the aged are portrayed affected you?

No, the portrayals of the elder citizens hasn't affected me. Keep in mind these are cartoon characters. The richest & most powerful person in Springfield is a centenarian.
