Well now, this is sure to be a thing to see! All in all, I haven't been this excited about a SIMPSONS episode in quite some time. We've got the return of Bob, the start of the first complete Scully-free p-code series, and now better picture quality.

Although I'm a little concerned about another upcoming change:

There's such a thing as too clean...

This is technically in error. The animation will still be animated by hand with pencil, then those drawings will be scanned into the computer and *inked and painted* digitally as opposed to using cels.

In the old process, the pencil drawings were photo copied onto clear cels (hence the weak "ink" lines at times since a pencil line can break up in a xerox copy) and then painted with vinyl based paints.
