Futurama

I see quite a few references in here to futurama, Do people actually think that show is any good? I am not sure how they could.

I second this post. It's a great show (Still like the Simpsons better)

Because it�s a brilliant show and much better than recent Simpsons (IMO of course.)

Even if the F3K characters are often a little too shallow and even if not every episode is great and even if FOX itself treats F3K like garbage...it has brilliant writing, often the class the Simpsons had many many years ago.

Have you seen a brilliant political satire like "A Head in the Polls"? A brilliant emotional episode like "Jurassic Bark"? Or a brilliant fun episode like "Where No Fan has gone before"?

"Head in the Polls" is an episode in the great satirical tradition of "Sideshow Bob Roberts". When did we have a Simpsons episode in that style for the last time? The F3K writers aren�t afraid to deal with serious issues and endings (see "Jurassic Bark") while the OFF writers try to correct every content with just more and more pointless crude fun and slapstick. F3K is still an innovative satire, OFF is now a mainstream gag show with thin alibi satire.

Okay, "Route of All Evil" was pretty lame but "Crimes in the Hot" and "Jurassic Bark" were outstandingly good. At least I�m glad to have F3K as alternative. Alas, there are only a few episodes left now.

Why do you think F3K is bad? Because they have no Homer?

"F3K"? Sheesh. It's not Futurama 3000, it's Futurama. If you're too lazy to type it all out, at least abbreviate it Fut. or F'ma or something that makes a little sense.

I�m not too lazy to type it all out, I know a lot of Futurama fans who use the abbreviation F3K to refer to the show, it�s just like saying OFF for The Simpsons. My entire Futurama collection is labelled F3K.
