Missing Patty & Selma

Why aren't Patty and/or Selma featured in storylines anymore? We only see them briefly for one-liners, on billboards, or George Foreman Mail Sorter jokes.

There's still a lot of comedy left in these sisters.

They are too busy shaving their lags ;-)

Same with Monty Burns -- he's been criminally underused over the past three or four seasons. And when he does appear, he's written as a buffoon, unlike the truly evil (yet hilarious) antogonist he was during the early seasons.

I agree with you. It's been a longtime since Marge's sisters have been part of the storyline. I like it how the sisters don''t get along with Homer.

I recently saw an older episode in which Marge, Patty, and Selma were in the Simpsons' kitchen clipping coupons. Of course, Homer mentioned not too long ago that they weren't welcome in the house, so that's that. But also, how 'bout some Bart and Lisa with P&S?

I guess we all agree in that the new simpsons episodes are all crap when i saw the last sunday episode I said to myself: "the simpsons are done" they're not funny anymore and have gotten even a tad anoying the lack of patty and selma are just a small example of how awful the simpsons have become I also miss the comic book guy and barney being a drunk.

My favorite Patty and Selma moment was when Homer was throwing them out the door and accidentally threw Marge out too.

Is it a coincidence that Patty Marge and Selma have the first initials P.M.S.?

mine was when Bart and Lisa were taken to their apmt. when Marge went to Rancho Relaxo. two scenes come to mind: Selma calls bart inside to rub her corns. and bart looking at Patty's bra and says: "i've said it before and I'll say it again: Ay Caramba!" priceless episode. none have come close since season 8. yes, we do miss patty and selma

My favorite has always been "A Fish Called Selma". Mainly because it centered around two of my favorite characters... Selma and Troy.

Yeah, I liked that one too. Especially when the revealed Troy's "fetish."
