I may be new but who exactly responds to all these chunkylover email's? has anyone ever found out this guy's real identity

Wait a minute. I thought it was a bunch of monkeys in a backroom somewhere (perhaps that room in the back of Moes), typing away until one of them provides a coherent message, at which point you get an answer. Which is why the replies aren't very long; the monkeys are working for bannanas.

The author is that bearded writer in the show who got fired, and was later seen in an unemployment line.

I dunno, but I got this reply back today, finally, I sent this a week ago to see if it actually worked and didnt just provide automated responses....

My original email :

Dear Mr. Simpson,

I am currently attempting to build a homemade nuclear power plant, as I need
electricity to power the lights in my recently completed homemade solar
power plant.   Currently I have several walls (not yet vertical), a Lazy Boy
chair, assorted wires of various lengths and thicknesses, a bucket of matt
white house paint (one quarter full, the other three quarters are empty),
and a digital watch which I think could be affixed to the wall as some sort
of time-keeping device.   As someone who works in a nuclear power plant, I'm
sure you have the knowledge to tell me what other materials I would need to
finish my project.

I believe he had a HAT.

He seems to bring it out as a prop.

I just saw a rerun last week, and if I'm remembering properly both Homer and Bart were wearing hats. It might have been the one where they relocate to get away from Bob.

Homer also wears a hat in the one with Duncan the race horse. It looked like he wore it in emulation of the stereotype of people who hang around race tracks.

In both cases the hat was the same kind, maybe a fedoria? The sort of thing Frank Sinatra would wear.

I suspect there are other similar instances.

Does he wear a hat in the Mr. Plow episode? I have a vague feeling he wears a baseball hat in it or one of the other episodes.
