Lisa's Wedding, i'm sorry guys... but it just got boring. I'm normally a sucker for that kind of stuff... but damn! it was plain, plain, plain boring!!!!!
Also, Marge vs. the Monorail is pretty okay, but c'mon... it doesn't have the dead-on funniness as Who Shot Mr. Burns part 2, Homer the Smithers, or 22 Short Films about Springfield...

Hmm, I don�t like two of the Conan episodes. The monorail episode (which is an early example of hardcore wackyness with its tentacle trees and radioactive squirrel) and "Homer Goes to College" which is very flat and weird and one of my least favourite episodes of the middle seasons (just behind the bad "Burns Heir")
For some strange reason this is one of my favourite episodes and far better than the second future episode from season 11. I love the scene between Lisa and Homer.

That's probably because you've seen it after watching the newer episodes (and "Futurama," for that matter). When it first aired in 1995, it was really the first Simpsons episode of its kind, where we stepped out of the normal frame (save the THOHs). At the time it was rather groundbreaking, especially for a show that had been on for so long already. But now we're at a point where we have twice as many episodes, and several times more with different points-of-view. Obviously it's not going to have staying power, with the competition, but it still holds a place for that period of time..

This episode was, not surprisingly, very poorly done.
"HOMR" was awful too, but a lot of people seem to like it. I think it didn't work at all, as it was not genuine at all. Part of the problem is that The Simpsons cannot pull off that kind of ending anymore, which is why I can't understand why a lot of people found it so touching. I must have missed something...no wait, I didn't, it just sucked.
