I loved gag with the one ant that caught fire, went to the hill, and caught every other ant on fire, which lead to the fiery ants igniting the oil. It's that kind of absurd humor that The Simpsons does best! ________________________________________________________________

If love of money is the root of all evil, why do churches want it so badly?

I loved it too. People on my message board made comments about that funny scene :).

Because Money is a nessity of life. The church does not love money but they need it like anyone else

Well they certainly have a lot considerng the $80m payoff to the families of the people who were molested. How many other payoffs were made that the public doesn't know about?

Sounds like they've got quite a "nest egg" there...

10% ??? Ouch.. I'm glad I don't belong to any organized religions. That
would hurt. It's not very fair, either-- people with higher incomes pay
more than people with lower incomes. (We are supposed to be all equal in
God's eyes, right? ) :)
