There used to be a comic and the daily papers called "Love Is". And it truly did feature two naked children in heart-warming situations. The art resembled those awful "Precious Moments" figurines which are available in low-class drug stores nation-wide. And the content of the comic was sappy enough to make "The Family Circus" look like left-wing propaganda . . .

I was in Chicago last summer, and they actually run that comic in the Sun-Times. All these years I thought Homer had just made it up!

"Love Is..." is a pithy little comic strip with cheesy saying that all start with "love is..." The drawings that accompany them have a husband and wife that do actually look like naked children.
