Season 14 has been FUNNY, but it hasn't been HUMOROUS.

I saw the episode where they go on that 1800s reality show, I didn't laugh once. Do you mean by what you said that the season is, as Ralph Wiggum puts it, funny but not haha funny?

Their aim seems to be (and has been for a while) to make the end of an episode as far away from the beginning as possible, through many bizarre events, plot-twists, etc. It must be tough thinking of decent storylines after so many years, and as for the jokes, many of them COULD be funny but the writers spoil them... comedy is very brittle.

That was one of the best episodes this year. You must've meant "Large Marge", the universal choice as worst epsode of season 14.

Outside of Curb Your Enthusiasm, which is great but has had it's own stinkers lately as well, it's the funniest show on TV. After those two I can't think of anything else that makes me laugh....that's meant to.
