simpsons pulled in some cities?

I heard some cities are banning simpson in a religious zones of U.S.A. is this true i think it is a bit odd.

on what grounds? how is the simpsons anti-religous?

That doesn't make them anti-religious. And the Simpsons themselves are a very religious family...they go to church every Sunday...only a relatively small section of the population actually does that.

IMO, if someone doesn't like a show for whatever reason, fine - that's their choice - but it really pisses me off when they try to spoil others enjoyment by getting it banned or censored.

Definitely disagree--while they poke fun at religion, they very often come back to religion as a positive force in people's lives--particularly in Homer the Heretic and Alone Again, Natura-Diddly.

i just saw on the news that in oklahoma and kansas there are 4 or 5 cities that wont show it and they are petitioning other cites and areas and they talked about certain episodes and ever showed some specific scenes. i think this is a big trouble in the making.
