The first chance card looked like it said "Bort Will Make Your Bed For A Week", not Bart. Is Bort back?
My feelings about this episode can be summed up in one word: "Yay!"
But I'll elaborate. This episode had a great premise, which was used well, and a great range of humor and emotion throughout. Milhouse was entirely in-character, loveable yet so misunderstood, and provided us with a great opportunity to get another glimpse of Bart's sensitive side. The Bart and Lisa bonding was enjoyable, and even Homer's subplot was decent. The ending to the plot was touching, and the very end was bearable (gotta love Isabel Sanford). So while it's hard to give this grade to an episode in which Maggie was only seen in the couch gag, I must deem this episode 10/10-worthy! (A+)

(Homer approaches in his bathrobe, looking somewhat drunk and holding a twinkie.) Homer: Yeah, you heard your mother. (The scene switches to Homer standing on a sidewalk in tattered, dirty clothes holding a hat and singing.) Announcer: ... And Homer's going to beg, borrow and steal to get the perfect present. (A couple approaches Homer and drops money into the hat. Homer is then seen holding a sign and standing next to another bum.) Homer: Do you have any pointers for a newbie? Bum: You would do well with ... crazy guy. (Homer is then seen dancing around, babbling incoherently. ) Announcer: The Simpsons, all-new at 8/7c, FOX LOL Sunday! (Homer is see presenting a pair of diamond earrings to Marge, who is overwhelmed with joy and plants a huge kiss on Homer's face.)
