yet another real life simpsons situation ...

one of the many things the simpsons does for me is make me laugh and happy in situations that are otherwise boring and stifling. like shopping. today i was shopping for a birthday present, and finally got to the chore of finding a card (which is impossible), but all i could think the whole time, which cheered me up immensely, was "it's funny, cause they're monkeys" and "to a hell of a blacksmith. nah, i already got him one." and "so long rejects [cramming cards back into little slots]." or "i couldn't afford to buy you a drum, so how about a nice pair of bongos." anyway, just thought i'd share that. i hate to think what my life would be like without OFF ...
