Baby I'm Amazed

Have any of you die-hards ever taken Baby I'm Amazed by Paul McCartney as it played in Lisa the Vegetarian, and played it backwards? Everytime I see this episode, I wonder if they really do describe a recipe, or if it's fake, or if possibly they make fun of the person who actually checked it, like "Ha ha you sucker, you took the time to reverse the song for no reason!"

I think that's "I'm alive." I really doubt they had Paul McCartney sit in the Fox studio and read the recipe backwards right as the episode aired. It's not a terrible strain on the animators' wrists, but it would be very tough to do.

Nitpick: The song is called "Maybe I'm Amazed".

Does anybody know whether the version played at the end of "Lisa the Vegetarian" is the 1970 studio version, or the "live" version from ~1977 which became a Top Ten hit?
