Anyone here watch "The Prisoner"? Planning on buying the DVD 17-Episode Set this summer. Though I haven't seen the episodes yet, I have seen the premiere so I'm pretty sure that The Simpsons have spoofed/parodied/comically reenacted/derived from the show at least twice. Most famously, the bubble (before I was introduced to the show, I've always wondered "How did the writers come up with that?") featured in Marge's getaway scene in "The Joy of Sect" (I am correct, right?) and, of course, "The Computer Wore Menace Shoes" which actually had Patrick Macgoohan guest voice as the character he played in The Prisoner, Prisoner #6. Are there any other references to the show? I vaguely remember a second bubble attack, but I think I might have taken that from the same episode. Is there a story behind this "Prisoner" references? Its obvious someone behind the show likes it...
If not, comments, viewers, fans of the show, etc. Can't wait until April (the month when I'll actually have enough money to purchase it).
