The 10-second teaser for Maggie's "The Longest Daycare" short changed for the second airing last night. The first airing made it kind of vague, showing only title-card/poster type stuff, and even announcing that they've already done the hardest part, making the poster.
Last night has a new version with, presumably, some real footage from the short, and the same breathless announcer (along with visual indication of the release date - this week, what a coincidence!): "Poor Maggie Simpson! Marge has left! She needs help! Who can she call? See Maggie in 3-D in 'The Longest Daycare' with 'Ice Age: Continental Drift' only in theaters July 13th! Happy ending guaranteed!"
Now you know. (I haven't, for the moment, checked anything else in the episode for changes.) For airing #3 and syndication, I wouldn't be surprised if it disappears, perhaps making up the length somehow. The opening was nonstandard (clouds to couch, though the missing part of the short opening is not 10 seconds long)... the episode was full- length otherwise... hmm.
