8F05 "Like Father Like Clown" [Poll]

Here�s another one of my boring polls, this time about my season 3 favourite "Like Father Like Clown". What would you say about the episode?

I�d of course say outstandingly good (well, I always do about classic episodes ;-))

Here�s my personal review about the episode to show you my opinion.

8F05 Like Father Like Clown

"Poor Krusty. He�s like a black velvet painting come to life." A wonderful episode, probably the best in season 3. Clearly inspired by "The Jazz Singer" but nevertheless a true masterpiece of Simpsons history with an outstanding performance by Jackie Mason as the voice of Rabbi Hyman Krustofski. Great teamwork by Bart and Lisa (once again) and many funny but thought-provoking lines, mainly those dealing with the Jewish people and with their fate."We�re going to hit him where it hurts. Right in the Judaica". A deeply serious and intelligent episode, with Bart quoting from the Talmud (with a little help from Lisa) and from some other religious writings but finally convincing the Rabbi with the words from Sammy Davis Jr., an entertainer like his son ("The Candyman?"). Moving reconciliation scene between Krusty and his father at the end with a rendition of "Oh mein Papa." It�s funny and it�s serious and it�s intelligent and that�s how I love it. Great episode.
