I just finished watching the new Halloween episode (I know a TV critic who got an advance copy). I'll try not to give much away, but beware of spoilers if you read on.
Maude Flanders is only featured in the pre-credit introduction. The first segment, where Homer clones himself, is great. In the second part, zombie cowboys rise from the dead. Either it was lame or I just didn't get it. The third segment was The Island of Dr. Hibbert. It was cool to see the characters as animals, but there wasn't much of a story. Overall, it wasn't the best or the worst TOH episode.
