It took me about 10 viewings before I realized that Comic Book guy was singing to the first few notes of the original Star Trek theme when he said "I am smart, much smarter than you....Hibbert!" in the Lisa Mensa episode.
Now I can't get it out of my head.....

Picked up a book on film criticism and someone writing an essay on "Rashamon" included that one. Didn't get it when I saw the episode (even though "Rashamon" is pretty much required viewing and I've seen it twice).

Mine is from 'Homer To The Max' where Flanders speaks with a totally different voice at the start. It went so kwik, I had to wait til the episode was shown again to hear it!

Flanders had a different voice for one line because a joke was being made that you can replace voice actors and nobody will ever notice because you don't see the real person. This was about the time the actors were muttering about wanting more money, and Fox said basically "You can be replaced, nobody would even know". The entire 'voice-actor' community asked Fox who they would get to replace the actors, since none of them would come work for Fox under these conditions, and lo and behold, the actors got their raise.
Then a year later, the original voice of Maude Flanders (Maggie Roswell) tried to pull the same thing, Fox said "Hey, you're just one person" and told her no raise. In fact, not only do you not get a raise, we're killing one of your characters. Hence, we have Alone Again Natura-diddly.

I had a REALLY big one go over my head--in the "Revitalizing Tonic" episode (which is great on many levels, BTW*), Homer is looking at the Kama Sutra and I always thought he said, "Hey Marge, this guy looks like a poo!" I just realized recently that he says "Apu." DUH!

I have this episode in .asf format, and so lord knows how many times I have seen it. Last time I caught some of the book titles in the sex section... including "Weight Loss Through Laborious Sex". There were more, but I forget now...
In the episode in which Otto stays with the Simpson family, Bart claims to have tape-recorded a conversation between him and Marge that shows she said "yes" to having Otto stay. Marge comments that isn't her voice, to which Homer says everyone sounds different on tape. It took me a while to figure out that it was really Bart imitating Marge on the tape.

It's from the scene where Homer explains that he was out late at night buying pornography. I didn't get the line until a year or two ago, which was many years after I had first seen the episode. It is good Proof that a man's center of consciousness is probably in his neck--and, in some extreme cases, much lower.
