Don't forget to take into account that West Springfeild is three t8imes the size of Texas (as we saw in the episode where Artie Ziff returns). With that nugget of information in mind, how hard can it be to find on the map?

It's been over for some time now. It was made clear once and for all with the showing and re-showing of the Behind the Laughter episode that Springfield in not in a real state. They said Kentucky in the first showing, but in a rerun it changed to Southern Missouri. It just goes to show you that continuing to ask this question at this point means you are just wasting your time.
