Who's smarter: asian girl or lisa?

Growing up all my life in a multi-cultural public school system in California, I can safely state the following observations:

The average asian girl is smarter than the average caucasian girl.

However, the smartest caucasian girl is typically smarter than the smartest asian girl.

However, replace "smart" with "hot looking," and the above observations are reversed.

The above qualities are nascent in high school and clearly manifest in college.

Also growing up in California, I didn't (and don't) see any inherent differences in intelligence between races. It is true, however, that asian parents usually push their kids more and have higher expectations of their children. Afterall, many first generation asians (and other immigrants, for that matter) came here with nothing and "made it," so they expect their kids to do even better now that they have a family established. This is often manifested in asian kids studying more and pursuing loftier academic goals.

Also, academic achievement is strongly rooted in Confucian ideology. In classical China (and many other Asian nations) your ticket to success was scoring well on the Mandarin exams. The only way to do that, study and memorize (yes memorize) hundreds of Confucian scholars so you could write 100,000 character essays on them.

i agree. i dont think that asians are any smarter, just that their parents push them more(on average).
