OT: Imagine That!

With the exception of The Simpsons, I really don't watch network TV. So this may be news only to me . . . Hank Azaria (voices of Apu, Moe, Wiggum, Frink, etc.) has his own show on NBC. The premier is tonight at 8pm ET. The show is called Imagine That. Azaria "stars as Josh Miller, a writer for a sketch-comedy show who has trouble telling people what he's thinking but no problems thinking, playing out his inner life through a series of daydreams and fantasies." . . . my curiosity is piqued . . .

Since so many shows like the use the device created by the film, I'm surprised there's never been a TV series based on the Walter Mitty movie (with the exception of the animated series Waldo Kitty).

Part of this is old news, but I don't think anyone has posted when it was premiering. It looks pretty funny to me.

One thought, a Simpsons actor is now playing someone who imagines characters in his head. Another Simpsons actor once played a character someone imagined in his head. Coincidence? I think...so.

I'm kind of watching it right now, it's not too bad. It has potential and it doesn't have a lot of competition in this time slot really.
