GOOFS / FREEZE FRAME / WHATNOT The Bay Bridge (which connects San Francisco and Oakland) had its suspension span's towers look like the Golden Gate Bridge's towers, and one of the towers, as well as the cement anchorage in the center of the span, were missing.
Shouldn't the flag have been unfurled before the national anthem began? (You're supposed to face the flag when it is played.)
This isn't the first time a TV show has mentioned that Oakland is, well, "less expensive" than San Francisco; on an episode of "Too Close for Comfort", the lead character's two daughters decide to move out on their own, but the only place where they can afford an apartment is in Oakland, and their parents freak out, as Oakland is "a high-crime area". (San Francisco's ABC station nearly refused to air the repeat, until the city was changed to "Oaktown".) However, it appears that somebody forgot to notice that Oakland is also the home of TV station KTVU, which is, er, the San Francisco Fox affiliate.
