Who out there is an person who actually knows how to draw and knows that cartoons are supposed to be controled by cartoonists. Like Looney Tunes or all the great Hanna Barrbara stuff in the old days. Now, Spumco, creators of Ren and Stimpy, are the only cartoon studio out there that actually is controled by cartoonists and all thier cartoons are written by people who know how to draw. The Simpsons is not Creator Driven or Cartoonist Controled. Matt Groening is a lazy bum who never did any of these: StoryBoard Lay Out Directing Writing(Few Exceptions) Animation What does he do on the show? I think he just sits around in his office and doesnt do a damn thing all day. Look at the good creators: John Kricfalusi(Owner of Spumco, Creator of Ren&Stimpy, Ripping Friends, Weekend Pussy Hunt, Goerge Liqour.) John writes for nearly every episode and he is the voice for most of his cartoons(He did Ren Hoek and Mr. Horse; Dirty Dog and Many others)
David Fiess(Cow&Chicken/I am Weasal) Writes and Directs or Storyboards for nearly every episode.
Tex Avery, Chuck Jones, Bob Clampett, and other Luney Tunes Directors These are all the best cartoonists ever. Directed hundreds of luney tunes episodes. The best cartoonists in the world.
Look at the simpsons. All the writers are NOT cartoonists. I doubt that a single one of them can even draw. They write on skripts and that sucks. Do you think that if Luney Tunes or Ren And Stimpy was written on skripts it would be the same? HELL NO! IT WOULD SUCK!!!! But The Simpsons is kinda differnt. The Simpsons is a sitcom cartoon. So it isnt supposed to be written by cartoonists. Well what about FLINSTONES? That was a sitcom cartoon wasnt it? IT WAS WRITTEN BY CARTOONISTS!!
