I honestly don't know. Scanning my archive I have used the terms "Our Favorite Family" and "Our Favourite Family" 127 times.

Actually, Raymond Chen is likely the first poster on the newsgroup to be credited for coining the acronym. I originally placed the post date as 15-Oct-91, but I just rescanned my archive from that period and found that Raymond had posted an earlier article on 24-Sep-91, titled "Agelessness of Our Favorite Family (OFF)"

However, I will point out that a.t.s. denizens were using the "Our Favorite Family" phrase before this date. But alas, my archive only goes back to the beginning of July 91; and it shows Sharon Crichton as the first person on a.t.s. to use it.

Perhaps Jym "Annoying Republicans since 1960" Dyer can provide more information on this topic. :-)

DYN Chris Baird was the first person on this newsgroup to coin the term DYN?
