Did anyone notice that the only story which actually features a dead clown was the only one in which Krusty wasn't violently killed?
Krusty would have made a great Yoric! Wonder if his skull would still have green hair sticking out of it?

Right, but Yoric was Hamlet's childhood jester. Krusty (and gang) played the part of the travelling minstrals who perform the play to Hamlet's instructions. Yoric was long since dead by then.

I thought about that too, but at the end of the last Sideshow Bob episode, everything was all wrapped up in a neat little package... No really, I mean that. Sorry if it sounded sarcastic.
I don't know how they would go about writing another reason why Bob wants to kill Bart, Lisa, Krusty, Cecil or Selma...
maybe they should write one where sideshow bob gets the possibility of parole for good behavior for starting a religous puppet show with ned flanders and rev. lovejoy. bob has one chance to prove to the community he's (once again) no longer a menace by giving a free show at his parole hearing, which the simpsons take maggie to see, but because of homer's fear of sock puppets (which are the kind bob uses) he's terrified and rallies the crowd to think bob is still a hideous monster. thus bob wants to kill homer this time and, um, well, i can't think of a way to finish that sentence. but that could be an idea.
