Cars & Trucks of The Simpsons

I can identify two trucks in the following episodes of The Simpsons:

1)"Lost Our Lisa:" The utility truck that carried Homer helplessly through the streets of Springfield was a 1987 1/2 to 1990 Dodge Ram pickup.

2)"Trilogy of Error:" Cletus's pickup is a 1948-1953 Chevrolet, possibly a 3100 Series.

I tried to add this to The Simpsons Archive once, but they never replied nor did they add these tips to their episode capsules. So I thought I should post it here instead.

both Mel Gibson and Fat Tony have Dodge Caravans (Beyond Blunderdome & Poppa's Got A Brand New Badge). The electric car that Homer destroyed to get tickets to Mel Gibson's movie was obviously modelled on that GM electric thing (an Impact?). Ned has a Geo Metro (seen in Homer Loves Flanders, Viva Ned Flanders and Skinner's Sense Of Snow). can't think of any more right now.....

Renier Wolfcatstle drives a Hummer.

Mr. Burns has a Stutz Bearcat, and I think that his limo is an old Rolls.

Evelyn drives a Mercedes 300TE or TD wagon in "Scenes from the class struggle in springfield"

I think he had a Bugatti of some kind in Hunka Hunka Burns In Love, that Snake stole? I can't remember what kind of Bugatti he said it was (an Italian name) but it looked a bit like a Royale (a obscenely luxurious car from the 30s that they only made about 5 of, and so hence goes for millions if one is put up for auction nowadays)

Snake has had at least a couple of cars. In the episode "Seperate Vocations" it was a 1968-1970 Dodge Charger, and in the episode where Homer won his car in an auction, it was a 1967-1969 Pontiac Firebird.

Let's not forget:

Bart: "There's a Gremlin on the side of the bus!"

Camera pulls back to reveal an AMC Gremlin piloted by none other than Hans Moleman.

Also, Marge drove a Gremlin in her high school days. She drove it to pick Homer up from the side of the road after ditching Arnie at the prom.

Homer (not realizing that it's Marge who is approaching): "All right! Fine! I'll stand in the mud!"

I remember reading a letter-to-the-editor in HotVW or VWTimes where someone had noticed that there were not only Volkswagens featured in the Simpsons, but *specific*-year Beetles (for those who can discern one model year Beetle from the next--I can't).

And, many features of Homer's car suggest that it is a Cadillac, although those features (specifically the tail-light treatment) can vary from one episode--or even scene--to the next.

Likewise, Marge's station wagon seems to be a 70s-era Chevrolet Malibu wagon.
