Is it just me, or does that music FOX plays whenever they're announcing the upcoming Simpsons episode (as in, right before the opening sequence) suck ass out loud? You know, that goofy clown music they play while Homer chases Bart around (or whatever) and some jerk says "Now, an All-New Simpsons" or "Stay tuned for Malcolm *in thirty*" (retch). That damned clown music. It makes me feel like I'm about to watch some Hannah-Barbara puke on Cartoon Network. I sure hope someone gets fired for that blunder...

OOOHHH GOD DO I HATE THAT "in thirty" Crap!! That is some of the most annoying shit ever! Not only that but they always show the stars of whichever show they are promoting just running around acting goofy or playing air guitar or some such garbage. I truly do wish someone gets fired over that!

I watched one of the first episodes (perhaps it was the first episode) and all I could think is that this show will never last with that ugly waifish no-talent as a main character.

I am utterly amazed it's still on and that it hasn't been retooled. Maybe she's "friendly" with one of the FOX exec's. I can't think of too many other logical explanations though.

No issues with the music, but I do find the lead-ins annoying when they don't have anything to do with the plot. For "Little Big Mom" (Marge breaks her leg on a ski trip, Lisa takes over as woman of the house), their teaser line was:

"And now... Homer goes skiing, on an All-New Simpsons!"

Homer goes skiing? Good synopsis... if by synopsis you mean LIE...

They have to do that because they know otherwise Marge and Lisa episodes don't appeal to people and then no one will bother to watch it. Even in those episodes Homer or Bart have to have something interesting going in order to ensure people will be there to watch.
