In the episode where Marge and Homer relate the tale of how they met to the children, there is a scene in one of the flashback sequences where Homer sees Marge at the drinking fountain, some time after they first met in detention. Thanks for the quick reply. "To moon" means exactly the same in the UK. But is there something in the phrase "mooned for rebuttal" that I'm not getting? It just doesn't seem a natural thing to say.
