Seasons 3-8 are classic. Seasons 2 and 9 are very good. Seasons 1 and 10 are pretty good. Seasons 11 and 12 are mediocre.

Deep down, Season 1 and 2 were truly what the Simpsons were. Beyond that, it was just a very good comedy.

I miss Joe Piscipo.

Honestly, I think that seasons 2-9 were great. After S. 9, there were a few good eps here and there, but they were few and far between. I'm honestly beginning to reconsider the praise I gave S. 12, esp. after rewatching "Simpson Safari" with a friend. Both of us asked how the hell they went from grocery shopping to diamond hunting monkeys.

Anyone who says that it's just a cartoon gets a paddlin.'
