Don't want to sound like Comic Book Guy, but after downloading Series 17 Episode 01, "Bonfire of the Manatees" I have to say it - it was THE worst episode I have ever seen. To call it utter crap would be giving it a compliment. It wasn't even up to THAT low a level. Yet the other two I have managed to download (they havent reached UK telly quite yet) "The girl who slept too little" and the "Milhouse of sand and fog" **** have been excellent. Back up to a quality that made me follow the Simpsons in the first place. It still remains the only American show I will watch. Oh - apart from Futurama that is ! Used to like Star Trek next gen, but subsequent Star Treks and the need to do entire shows on "issues" have made them unwatchable.

no, the first episode was bad. im starting to dislike it because all the jokes and stories are old and seem to be recycling.

The whole season has been unmatchable so far IMO. Somebody ring the bell, the former heavyweight champ is getting killed in there... but at this point, it's his dignity that's taking the beating.
