Just a question....

Are you guys all walking Simpsons episode guides or something? :-)

Or do you just go a web page and search for the episode you have in mind?

I keep seeing stuff like, "Yeah, I thought that that seen in CABF07 was lame; it's already been done 2F13." "Remember that quote in XXFXX?" "No, that quote was actually in XXFXY."

I mean, damn, if you guys are actually remember all that stuff, I tip my hat to you....I just basically go, "you know that episode where Bart got put gets put into genius school?" I have no clue about episode number or what season it was in (though I know it was an early one) and I'm too lazy to look it up.

That's why if someone asks me, "What season did you like better, season 5 or season 8?", my answer is I have no clue. You guys actually remember what season every episode was in? Or look it up? (Again, I'm too lazy to do that ;-)

Sometimes I search the snpp.com archive to help answer a specific question, yes. But rarely. Often it involves some obscure question like "How many times has bart said "..,eh?" and you can't remember the page URL with the guide (it's at -> http://www.snpp.com/guides/eh.list.html).

The episode capsules at snpp.com are great works of art, they really analyze *everything* that occurs or is referenced in the episode in question.

Seriously, though-> After a while you kind of associate the episode number with the title and plot. Often, referring to episodes by their numbers or title is easiest. Laying out the plot takes too much time to write. :-)

Sometimes I remember stuff incorrectly. It's human to be erronuos, after all. I might mix up two episodes or mis-place an episode. And, yes, sometimes I look it up. But many episodes I can accurately place in a specific season. I've seen the first 6-7 seasons about 10 times through, though, so what would you expect!? :-)
