Tonight, my state, and the university I recently graduated from were both mentioned on The Simpsons! Those would be, South Carolina, and the Gamecocks. As in USC Gamecocks. Granted, the references were somewhat derogatory, but SC is never mentioned nationally without it being derogotory, so I can deal with that.

I was about to post here myself. I'm currently a Gamecock. They definitely took a cheap shot at South Carolina, but Homer clearly said USC was the best school in the state. And I'm inclined to agree.

1) Screw you for that special olympics post. Clemson is a fine institution for agriculture, nursing, and engineering. We have other majors, but they pretty much consist of athletes and pretty girls.
2) Homer says USC is the best, while Lisa says "no, I will not be a gamecock!" Now ask yourself, who would you listen to?
